Derrick Rose left Friday night's game against Portland with a right knee injury -- and the city and fans of Chicago held their collective breaths, just wondering how severe the injury was as he left the Rose Garden on crutches.
Rose spent a year and a half rehabbing and getting back into NBA form from his torn ACL injury back in April, 2012 -- and fear was that he might've done the same thing -- but to the right knee this time.
News trickled down earlier today from the MRI results of Rose's right knee -- and per K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune, Rose is out indefinitely with a torn meniscus in the right knee. The Chicago Bulls later confirmed the injury update.
The Bulls are currently 5th in the Eastern Conference at 6-5.
