The New York Knicks finally take on their rival the Brooklyn Nets tonight at Barclays Center at 7PM on TNT after their initial matchup that was supposed to take place on November 1 was postponed due to Hurricane Sandy.

Everyone in the city has been talking about this game for weeks and the time is finally here. The Knicks (9-4) currently have the second best record in the Eastern Conference, 4th in the NBA while the Nets (8-4) have the third best record in the Eastern Conference, 6th in the NBA.

The Knicks will still be without Amar'e Stoudemire and Iman Shumpert, but the Knicks' bench and play from their veterans have been keys to their early success thus far. While the Nets, coming off back to back impressive victories against the L.A. Clippers and Portland Trail Blazers, are finally get their chemistry together as they were also without Gerald Wallace for a few games.

What will happen tonight in Brooklyn? Real simple. History. Make sure you witness an epic tonight not only for the NBA, but for NYC basketball as a whole.
