The Kobe Bryant long awaited return is imminent.
According to Kevin Ding of Bleacher Report, the Black Mamba now has full medical clearance, meaning it is up to Mr. Bryant to return whenever he chooses to do so.
Bryant is on the comeback from a ruptured left Achilles tendon he suffered late last season, and all of Laker nation was awaiting his return, and when he does, the Black Mamba will come out fully loaded to prove the doubters and haters wrong -- and believe me, there's many of them.
But a healthy Kobe Bryant is better than a large percentage of the league -- correct?
Entering his 18th NBA season, Kobe Bryant is 35 years old -- but that shouldn't mean a thing. In case anyone forgot, lets take a look at his stats last season prior to the injury: 27.3 ppg, 6.0 apg, 5.6 rpg.
Could we see those numbers from Kobe by the end of the season? Don't see why not. The Lakers, as they're currently constructed, have been playing decent basketball this season -- but when you have that #24 guy at full strength, it can definitely lift your team and shake up the landscape of the Western Conference to a degree.
Lets wait on what target date Kobe has in mind and go from there -- but until then, Laker nation is rocking and they have every reason to do so.
